We are looking for Senior Supply Chain Manager, for a upcoming Auto Parts Mfg. MNC in Chennai

Qualification:  

Graduate Engineer with MBA / Exe. MBA in MM, SCM. SAP experience must

 

Experience : 

15+ yrs.

Must have headed the SCM function for a min of 5 yrs, with over all experience of +15 years.

 

 Key Responsibilities  -

 - Sets the Supply Chain OGSM strategy   This should be in line with the   Regional business strategies

 

- Implementation of Planning activities, Vendor development, Logistic, etc

 

- He/She works closely with the other functions (Marketing, Finance, Sales R & D,  Punjab /Chennai Plant and vendors) to ensure that the overall company objectives are met.

 

- He/She leads a team of highly skilled managers/technicians. Personal leadership and the development of his/her direct reports, his/her team and organisation are essential for meeting   strategic objectives.

 

- The Supply Chain Manager controls the overall budget of SCM.

 

 

 

Additional Responsibilities –

 

- He/she is responsible to ensure all HSE requirements are in place through the SEO..

 

- Foster and actively contribute to close cooperation between all departments of the Technical Community (R&D, Product Supply, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Marketing)

 

- Protect  organisations intellectual property developed in product creation projects.

 

- He/She is part of a global SCM Leadership Team with peers of other SCM Categories and serves as a role model  .

 

 -Work closely with the Corporate SCM to ensure company SCM requirements are being met.
